Introduction

Well-designed and well-constructed buildings don't just manufacture themselves. Buildings are a result of close collaboration between the architects who design them and the craftsmen who construct them. Your purchasing program is no different. Like an architect, you need to be a well-organized problem-solver. Like a skilled craftsman, you need to know the tools that will build a strong and reliable end product.

Welcome to the GSA SmartPay® purchase charge card cardholder training. This training program is your blueprint for success - it will teach you how to use the purchase charge card responsibly. Your agency may have additional training/restrictions on the use of the purchase charge card. For specific information on agency training/restrictions you may contact your agency/organization program coordinator (A/OPC). A listing of the A/OPCs is located at www.gsa.gov/gsasmartpay .

An interactive test follows.

Section 508 Compliance

Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act requires that federal agencies' electronic and information technology be accessible to people with disabilities. The Center for Information Technology Accommodation (CITA), in the General Services Administration's Office of Government Wide Policy, has been charged with the task of educating Federal employees and building the infrastructure necessary to support Section 508 implementation. After April 1, 2005 micro-purchases will be required to conform to Section 508. Visit www.section508.gov for more information.
